Acerca de este recurso
The program encompasses five essential areas integrated into daily activities: 1) Character and Leadership Development, which empowers youth to positively impact their Club and Community, build meaningful relationships, cultivate a strong self-image, engage in democratic processes, and honor cultural identities. 2) Education & Career Development, which equips youth with essential academic skills, encourages practical application of learning, and promotes the use of technology for career success. 3) Health & Life Skills, which enhances young people's ability to adopt positive behaviors for their well-being, set personal goals, and thrive as independent adults. 4) The Arts, which fosters creativity and cultural appreciation through exposure to visual arts, crafts, performing arts, and creative writing. 5) Sports, Fitness & Recreation, which promotes physical fitness, effective leisure activities, stress management skills, environmental appreciation, and social interaction. A key aspect of the Boys & Girls Club of Magic Valley is its Youth Development Strategy, aimed at instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence in youth.
