Single-Site Supportive Housing - La Rosa Villas

This non-licensed program by the New York State Office of Mental Health provides long-term or permanent housing for seniors aged 55 and above who have a mental health diagnosis, allowing them to access essential support services for thriving in the community. The facility, La Rosa Villas, consists of 60 units, 10 of which are allocated for the Supportive Housing Program. Rent includes utilities such as heat, air conditioning, hot water, and electricity. Each of the 10 furnished units comes with essential items like linens, dishes, silverware, and cookware. The apartments feature a kitchen equipped with a range, refrigerator, microwave, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with basic cable, along with in-unit storage. Tenants can use on-site laundry facilities at no charge, and off-street parking is available. Amenities include a community room, lounges, and a computer lab, with complimentary Wi-Fi in common areas. The buildings maintain a 100 percent smoke-free policy, with designated outdoor smoking areas. Each tenant is assigned a housing specialist who provides community linkages, advocacy, and guidance on apartment maintenance, available Monday through Friday during business hours. Security staff is present during overnight and weekend shifts.
