- To qualify for the program, recipients must meet specific criteria assessed by a case manager, including being 60 years or older, a spouse of an eligible recipient, or a disabled non-senior living with a recipient; they must reside in Nassau County, have mobility issues, be unable to cook or shop safely due to health, lack local support, and be able to understand food safety procedures.
