This initiative provides in-home support to eligible seniors residing in their own homes. Services encompass housekeeping, personal assistance, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, case management is available to assist seniors in making informed and cost-effective choices regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours per individual varies based on assessed needs and available local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours monthly. Scenarios where Oregon Project Independence may be suitable include instances where someone needs help due to injury or illness, or when recovering at home after a hospital stay.

Fees: Costs are determined on a sliding scale, calculated based on monthly household income after deducting monthly medical expenses.
