This initiative provides living arrangements for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism, focusing on fostering independence, skill development, and community engagement. Residents can access behavioral and mental health support, medication management, self-advocacy training, and links to community resources, including educational and vocational opportunities. Staff assist with daily self-care tasks while promoting skills for independent living, such as shopping and financial management. Each resident enjoys a private bedroom and shares communal spaces with housemates who have similar interests and support requirements. Note that the program does not offer a 2:1 or 1:1 caregiver-to-resident staffing model.
