About this resource
This initiative provides living arrangements for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism, focusing on fostering independence, skill development, and community engagement. Residents can access behavioral and mental health support, medication management, self-advocacy training, and links to community resources, including educational and vocational opportunities. Staff assist with daily self-care tasks while promoting skills for independent living, such as shopping and financial management. Each resident enjoys a private bedroom and shares communal spaces with housemates who have similar interests and support requirements. Note that the program does not offer a 2:1 or 1:1 caregiver-to-resident staffing model.
Intake Procedure: To apply, please call for an appointment or reach out to your local Community Developmental Disabilities Program.
Fees: OHP verified.
Who can use this
- Individuals aged 18 and older with an intellectual and developmental disability diagnosis, including autism.
Documents you may need
- Intake screener may ask for individuals name, date of birth, guardian information, insurance information, current behaviors of concern, past mental health treatment, current medications, and current treatment providers.
