They offer complimentary and unbiased counseling through various channels such as phone calls, in-person meetings, public presentations, and media outreach to aid seniors in making informed choices. Additionally, the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) equips beneficiaries, families, and caregivers with the tools to prevent, identify, and report healthcare fraud, errors, and abuse through education and outreach efforts.
