Uta Paratransit Ada Program

This transportation service offers curb-to-curb rides for individuals with physical, cognitive, or visual disabilities who are unable to use the UTA fixed bus service independently, whether permanently, temporarily, or in specific situations. Those deemed eligible for Paratransit Service are categorized into one of three groups: unconditional, temporary, or conditional. Registered riders can arrange trips within a three-quarter mile radius of a local fixed bus route or light rail station. Passes can be purchased at various locations throughout the valley. In certain situations, assistance is provided from the vehicle to the first exterior door at the pick-up or drop-off location, but requests must be made in advance.
