The Child Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) offers financial reimbursement to qualifying family day care providers, ensuring that children in these homes receive nutritious and balanced meals. This program collaborates closely with the Child Nutrition Program of the Utah State Office of Education.

- To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old and either care for relatives exclusively or hold a license/certification from the Utah Department of Health's childcare licensing program. Care recipients must be children aged 12 or younger, or individuals with disabilities of any age.

- License, residential certificate from the Utah Department of Health Child Care Licensing OR relative care certificate through Alliance for Children (criminal background check required for all residents over 18 when applying for relative care certificate).
