This program provides monthly financial assistance to both adults and children with disabilities whose income and resources fall below designated financial thresholds. Washington State additionally offers a state supplement, and participants automatically qualify for Medicaid and food assistance programs.
Intake Procedure: Individuals can either call to arrange an appointment at a local office or complete an application online. Those applying for SSI will be prompted to indicate if they wish to apply for food benefits, with options to select the Basic Food Benefits plan or WASHCAP (Washington State Combined Application Program) benefits.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
