This program provides monthly financial assistance to adults and children with disabilities whose income and resources are below designated financial limits. Washington State also contributes an extra supplement, and participants automatically qualify for Medicaid and food assistance benefits.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can either call to set up an appointment at a local office or apply online. During the SSI application process, applicants will be given the option to apply for food benefits and can select between the Basic Food Benefits program or WASHCAP (Washington State Combined Application Program).
