This initiative includes a volunteer and gift-in-kind aspect that will operate through the United Way of Treasure Valley. The 2-1-1 service will serve as a hub for individuals seeking to find volunteer roles that align with their interests. This program embodies the mission of the United Way of Treasure Valley, which is to enhance lives by harnessing the compassionate efforts of communities. Those wishing to contribute their time or goods can reach out to the 2-1-1 United Way Volunteer Program, which will facilitate connections with organizations in need of assistance or donations. Currently, the program is limited to the Treasure Valley area, with plans for future expansion across the state. Languages offered include English, with additional support available through a language line.
