Boise Girls Academy / Teen Challenge

Boise Girls Academy serves a maximum of 20 adolescent girls, ages 13-17, who exhibit a range of at-risk behaviors. Our goal is to assist these young women in making healthier decisions while fostering self-worth, appreciation for their families, and respect for others. As a licensed therapeutic boarding school in Idaho, we are affiliated with Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge centers and accredited by Teen Challenge USA. We operate as an 'early intervention' program, aiming to guide girls before they reach adulthood with regrets over poor choices. The program lasts for 15 months, and enrollment is open year-round. We provide an interactive online curriculum through Alpha Omega Academy, which is accredited by AdvancED. Each student receives a tailored curriculum featuring both core subjects and electives, with certified teachers available to support their learning. Ensuring educational continuity is a priority. Additionally, we offer counseling from our licensed on-staff counselor, therapeutic programming, and group sessions. Parental involvement is encouraged through regular communication, letter exchanges, and bi-monthly Parent Weekends. Our program includes scheduled physical activities through a local gym membership, leisure time, and various special events throughout the year. We also participate in off-campus church services twice a week and hold chapel services on campus. Languages: English.
