The Bureau of Facility Standards is committed to safeguarding Idahoans who require health-related services, support, and oversight in care facilities by:*Upholding each person's rights, well-being, safety, dignity, and promoting their highest potential for independence; *Ensuring adherence to state rules and federal guidelines; and *Offering information and educational resources.*We license and certify health care providers and suppliers in line with state and federal regulations where applicable. Additionally, we investigate complaints related to these providers and suppliers. The website features a list of providers and suppliers, including: Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Home Health Agencies, Hospices, Hospitals, Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID), Long Term Care Facilities, and Rural Health Clinics, organized alphabetically or by region. The Certified Nursing Assistant Registry is also part of the Bureau's responsibilities. The Home Health Hotline was created to handle complaints or inquiries about local Home Health Agencies. The Bureau operates under the Division of Licensing and Certification, with access to English and Spanish interpreters available.
