Individuals aged 55 or older who are beneficiaries of Idaho Medicaid may have a lien imposed on their estate, reflecting the value of the Medicaid benefits received. In cases where there is no estate, claims may be pursued against the estate of a spouse. Recovery of these claims will only occur after the death of both the individual and their surviving spouse, whichever occurs later.
