Idaho Legal Aid Services - Boise

Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc. has introduced an Online Intake system that enables prospective clients to apply for assistance at their convenience. The organization provides services to low-income residents of Idaho without discrimination based on gender, race, sexual orientation, or age. Their attorneys offer legal representation in various areas, including: Low-Income assistance, Eviction cases (Eviction Clinic on Fridays), and Domestic Violence matters such as Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, and Visitation (only by referral from a Domestic Violence Shelter). Additionally, they cater to seniors aged 60 and above with low income, assisting with Medicaid eligibility, Probate, Guardianships, and Consumer Fraud. A new Youth Empowerment Clinic is available on the second Thursday of each month at the downtown Boise Public Library, offering free legal advice on topics like school disciplinary issues, rights of students with disabilities, and juvenile criminal conviction expungement. Legal representation is contingent upon qualifying for their services, and they do not provide advice on criminal issues. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
