About this resource
The Capitol of Idaho stands as the most cherished structure in the state, where significant laws have been enacted, important issues discussed, and the rights of citizens upheld for nearly a century. To maintain the Capitol's rich history and legacy, the Idaho Capitol Commission was established by Governor Phil Batt in July 1998. Subsequent governors have actively supported the Commission's mission to restore and preserve the Capitol to its original grandeur.
