About this resource
The Idaho State Independent Living Council (SILC) champions equal opportunity, access, self-determination, independence, and choice for individuals with disabilities. Its mission is to enhance opportunities and integrate people with disabilities into every facet of life through empowerment. The Idaho SILC also offers leadership development initiatives to equip grassroots advocates, who will then foster systemic changes in public policy that benefit people with disabilities.
