Immunization Program-Boise, Dhw Admin

This initiative focuses on reviewing and updating the immunization requirements for schools and licensed day care facilities in Idaho, as well as adhering to the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Act. It offers educational resources regarding vaccine-preventable diseases, supplies vaccines to both private practitioners and public health entities, and enhances immunization efforts through partnerships with local health departments. Additionally, the program engages in quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of effective immunization services across the state. The Office of Epidemiology, Food Protection, and Immunizations within the Division of Public Health oversees the Immunization Program.
