Providers can utilize automated prompts to connect with the right help desk. Below is a list of initial prompts along with their descriptions:**Dial or Speak: 1 or Enrollment --- Providers can check the status of their provider record update (1) or speak to a live Provider Enrollment Specialist (0) (or leave a message). The PES is available to answer all inquiries related to enrollment in the MMIS. 2 or EDI --- Connects to a live Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) specialist who can assist with electronic transactions (claims, eligibility, etc.) and trading partner agreement applications. 3 or Provider---This option is for provider services where providers can find information about eligibility, claims, prior authorizations, healthy connections, last payment, service limits, and much more. This program is managed through the Division of Medicaid. To enroll as an Independent Respite Provider, there is a two-step process: 1. You must first complete a current First Aid/CPR certification and a Criminal History check or state name check, both of which must be done before enrollment. 2. Then, fill out the online Medicaid provider enrollment application. Language assistance is available through English and Spanish interpreters.
