PFLAG fosters the health and well-being of individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, along with their families and friends, by providing support to navigate a challenging society, educating the public to dispel misinformation, and advocating for the end of discrimination and the attainment of equal civil rights. The organization, known as Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, facilitates discussions around sexual orientation and gender identity while striving to cultivate a society that honors and respects human diversity.
