Prosecutor - Ada County

The Criminal Division employs fifty-two deputy prosecutors. In their initial year, deputy prosecutors primarily manage cases related to traffic violations, DUI offenses, domestic violence, and misdemeanors. New attorneys frequently participate in numerous court and jury trials during this time. Following their first year, they typically transition to handling felony cases, preliminary hearings, juvenile matters, or child protection cases, usually in their second or third year of practice.
