About this resource
The Boise City/Ada County Housing Authority is responsible for managing the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This program allows very-low income families to access safe, decent, and affordable rental options in the private housing market. Currently, the authority provides Section 8 rental assistance to more than 1800 very-low income households in Boise City and Ada County, Idaho.
