SHIP's mission focuses on combating drug abuse within the community and aiding individuals recovering from substance use disorders by offering supportive housing. The organization provides gender-specific residences that create a therapeutic atmosphere, allowing residents to develop skills for living free from drugs and alcohol while distancing them from their previous environments associated with addiction. These homes encourage long-term recovery and personal accountability. Additionally, SHIP offers job training, career advancement, and green job opportunities for those in recovery. Intake Process: Interested individuals should fill out an application, which can be obtained at the office or through the website www.shipinc.org. Interviews are conducted Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, both in person and via phone.
