About this resource

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously referred to as Food Stamps, aids low-income families in acquiring the food essential for maintaining their health. Eligible families will receive an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, functioning similarly to a debit card, which can be used at grocery stores. This card draws from a designated SNAP account to cover food purchases, but benefits are restricted to approved food items. Available languages include English and Spanish.

Intake Procedure: You can apply by calling or visiting in person; a written application is necessary.
