Unclaimed Property Program

The Unclaimed Property Program of the Idaho State Tax Commission strives to link abandoned financial assets, also known as unclaimed property, to their rightful owners or heirs. In Idaho, there are over $50 million in unclaimed assets waiting to be retrieved. These assets can include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, bank accounts, uncashed payroll checks, utility deposits, travelers checks, contents from safe deposit boxes, and more. Many of these assets are often forgotten or unknown to their owners and can sometimes be valued in the thousands of dollars. Languages: English.
