We provide financial support for vital public facilities and services, including water and sewer systems, housing, health clinics, emergency service facilities, and electric and telephone services. We foster economic growth by facilitating loans to businesses via banks, credit unions, and community-managed lending pools. Additionally, we offer technical support and resources to assist agricultural producers and cooperatives in starting and optimizing their operations. Our technical assistance also aids communities in launching empowerment programs. With a portfolio of $181.1 billion in loans, we plan to manage $38 billion in loans, loan guarantees, and grants through our programs in the current fiscal year, fulfilling our mission by equipping rural individuals, communities, and businesses with the necessary financial and technical resources to meet their unique needs.
