The Disabled Veterans Van Service can be reached at (208) 422-1000 ext 7555, providing transportation to and from VA Medical Centers in Boise and nearby locations. It caters to hospitalization and outpatient care for veterans with service-connected conditions, while also assisting non-service-connected veterans as resources permit. The facility offers detoxification, inpatient, and outpatient services for adults of both genders. The VAMC delivers extensive Mental Health and Substance Abuse services to eligible veterans on a voluntary basis, including inpatient, outpatient, and daytime emergency triage services. Specialized treatments are available for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Substance Abuse Treatment (SAT), and Serious Mental Illness.
