About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program investigates allegations of child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When needed, it offers suitable services to meet family requirements. This program evaluates and determines incidents of child abuse, which may involve assessing family members and/or the child who has been harmed. It assists in obtaining counseling for the victim, parents, the perpetrator, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English and Spanish.
