The Regional Children and Family Services Program reviews allegations of child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and offers essential services to meet family needs when required. This program evaluates reported incidents of child abuse, which may involve assessing family members and the affected child. It facilitates counseling for victims, parents, the abuser, and others involved, and there are no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English and Spanish.
