About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program investigates claims of child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and offers necessary services to address family requirements. This program evaluates reported incidents of child abuse, which may involve assessing family members and/or the child in question. It also assists in obtaining counseling for the victim, parents, the abuser, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the program is responsible for licensing foster homes and offering certain adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English and Spanish.
