About this resource
PCIT has been identified as one of the top three effective practices for assisting children who have experienced physical abuse. It is particularly suitable for children aged 2.5 to 7 years who show challenging behaviors such as aggression, non-compliance, defiance, and temper tantrums. These behaviors may stem from issues related to attachment, caregiver reunification, trauma, ADHD/ADD, ODD, and adjustment challenges. PCIT is most beneficial for young children and their parents or caregivers aiming to enhance their relationships.
