The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities through various services, programs, and research crucial for the state's growth. Offered programs include 4-H, weed control initiatives, home economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), garden and landscape management, family resource management, crops and horticulture, first aid and safety training with a focus on small business operations, money management and household budgeting, life skills development, teen tutoring, water quality testing, pesticide applicator training, food preservation, livestock management, and range management.
