Wicap - Council

This private, non-profit organization assists those who are economically and socially disadvantaged by addressing their unique needs, helping them to attain self-sufficiency and realize their full potential through personal, social, and educational development. Services offered may include food commodities, emergency food assistance, energy support, limited financial aid based on available funding, family development initiatives, specialized housing programs, and telephone support. Additional community programs may also be accessible, so it's advisable to contact your local office for more information. Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) are available, which are matched savings accounts designated for specific asset goals; for further details, you can speak with an account manager. Services are offered in both English and Spanish.
