A Growing Place - Family Resource Center

The Center features an extensive online Resource Directory tailored for Southeast Idaho, along with a Resource Library, Asset Shop, and thorough assessment and referral services. It also offers The Nurturing Program for Families, The Baby Steps Program, The Birth to Three Playgroups, and Parent Support. Managed by the Bannock Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization active since 1978, these services aim to assist youth and families in Bannock County. The Nurturing Parenting Program spans 12-15 weeks and is geared towards families with children aged 0 to 18, focusing on areas such as parental support in nurturing adolescents, effective age-appropriate discipline strategies, aiding youth in managing peer pressure, and fostering respect from children towards their parents. Classes are held in the evenings from 5:30 PM to 8 PM. For enrollment in the Nurturing Program, interested individuals should contact Heather Kemp at (208) 234-1122.
