Bannock County provides a range of services through its government offices, including marriage licenses and assistance for those in need. The Bannock County Indigent/Welfare office can be reached at 208-236-7347 or via email at indigent@co.bannock.id.us. For domestic violence issues, contact Cassia Morton at (208) 236-7421, located in Suite F, available from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The Board of Guardians steps in to provide guardianship as a last option for incapacitated individuals in Bannock County. Additionally, the Circuit Breaker program offers property tax reductions primarily for elderly and disabled residents. The Indigent Fund assists with medical, burial, and travel expenses for those stranded in the county. Services are available in English.
