The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, and commitments, as well as service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program shares information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program, which supports children from birth to three years with developmental delays, offers various therapeutic, educational, and supportive services at no cost to families. This program also aids in transitioning services to school districts when children turn three. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program delivers services to adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which is available in English with interpreter services accessible upon request.
