The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides various services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support, as well as sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program serves children from birth to age three who exhibit developmental delays, offering free therapeutic, educational, and supportive services for both the child and their family, including assistance with transitioning to school services when the child turns three. Additionally, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program supports individuals with developmental disabilities through court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English and provides access to interpreters when needed.
