Pocatello Women's Correctional Center (Pwcc)

PWCC is the inaugural facility of the department created to cater to the distinct program requirements of female offenders. It commenced operations in April 1994 and can accommodate 289 female offenders across all custody levels. The facility serves as the reception and diagnostic center for women and provides vocational work projects, Correctional Industries, educational opportunities, programming, as well as pre-release and work-release programs.
