About this resource
WIC provides support for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to their 5th birthday. Families receive WIC cards to purchase nutritious supplemental foods from local grocery stores that are authorized Idaho WIC vendors. The program also offers nutrition education, assistance in locating healthcare and community services, as well as breastfeeding information and support. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
