The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a range of services, programs, and research essential for the state's growth. The available programs include 4-H, weed control initiatives, family and consumer sciences, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), garden and landscape management, youth at risk programs, crops and horticulture, money management and household budgeting, life skills development, water quality testing, pesticide applicator training, and food preservation. Services are provided in English.
