About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho supports the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering essential services, programs, and research that contribute significantly to the state's growth. Key offerings include: 4-H Youth Development, Natural Resources (covering soil, water, and forestry), Agriculture (both small acreage and conventional), Community Development, Family and Consumer Sciences (such as food preservation), Home Horticulture/gardening, and EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Programs).
