About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and offers necessary services to meet family needs. This program assesses and determines incidents of child abuse, which may involve evaluating family members or the affected child. It also facilitates counseling for victims, parents, abusers, and others involved, with no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
