Once you speak with the 'live' operator, inform them that you are looking for the Bishop in your vicinity. After you obtain the phone number, reach out to the Bishop to arrange a meeting to discuss your requirements. Keep in mind that LDS Bishops have full-time jobs and are not available at their offices all the time; the best times to call are Tuesday and Wednesday evenings after 7 PM, and Sundays after 8 AM. During your meeting with the Bishop, you can inquire about low-cost clothing and household items. Deseret Industries offers training and rehabilitation for eligible individuals through their thrift shops. For vouchers to shop at Deseret stores, you should either contact the store for local community partners or reach out to your Bishop if you are a member of the LDS Church.
