The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth, utilizing multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, feeding, and engaging in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination for the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English, with interpreters available as needed.
