The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program is dedicated to delivering early intervention services that assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. It is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive abilities, eating habits, and overall participation in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which is available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
