The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, and shares information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services to aid families in supporting their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) in achieving their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and engagement in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, and services are available in English with interpreters accessible upon request.
