The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), aiming to help families support their children's development to their fullest potential. This program operates with multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in enhancing children's abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities by providing court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
