About this resource
Established in June 2011, SPOT stands for Selkirks-Pend Oreille Transit, a nonprofit initiative that collaborates with the cities of Dover, Sandpoint, Ponderay, and Kootenai to offer FREE public bus services. Starting in Winter 2012, it introduced two routes: a GREEN line connecting Dover and Ponderay, and a BLUE line linking Sandpoint and Ponderay, which includes a connection to Schweitzer. The main service runs daily from 6:24 a.m. to 6:27 p.m., with extended hours available on specific routes from Thursday to Sunday. Buses only stop at designated locations marked by Blue or Green Bus signs and can accommodate one wheelchair and two bicycles on the front racks.
