Spot - Selkirks-Pend Oreille Transit

Initiated in June 2011, SPOT stands for Selkirks-Pend Oreille Transit, a nonprofit partnership among the cities of Dover, Sandpoint, Ponderay, and Kootenai that offers FREE public transportation. As of Winter 2012, there are two routes: a GREEN line connecting Dover and Ponderay, and a BLUE line linking Sandpoint and Ponderay, which includes a connection to Schweitzer. The main service operates daily from 6:24 a.m. to 6:27 p.m., with extended hours available on certain routes from Thursday to Sunday. Buses only stop at designated locations marked with Blue or Green Bus signs and can accommodate one wheelchair and two bicycles on the front racks.
